Pupils have returned following the half term break in good spirits and ready for the half term ahead. We have had a number of visitors in school this week, to see the school and lessons in action; it has been an absolute pleasure dropping into lessons to see the variety of learning experiences our pupils are offered and the pupils focussed and engaged with their learning, with their teachers and with each other.

Thank you to all the local community who came to support our first ever formal Art exhibition. It was an amazing opportunity for our class of 2018 artists to have their work exhibited alongside professionals on public display. It was a fantastic opportunity for us to bring together our local community in celebrating fabulously talented artists! We really are #makingtheimpossiblepossible here at Cams Hill.

Thank you to all parents/carers of our Year 7 pupils for joining us in our ‘Settling-in Evening’. Parents/Carers met 1:1 with their child’s tutor to discuss the first 5 weeks of term as part of our transition programme. Whilst the months leading up to the September start are crucial, we recognise that our input during the first half term is equally as important to ensure a smooth transition and settling-in. We welcomed the feedback offered from parents/carers which can be used to inform future planning and development and our work with your children.
