It will be a great opportunity to develop transferable skills, such as communication, teamworking, problem-solving, and timekeeping as well as gaining an understanding of how organisations work. We look forward to hearing about their experiences after the Easter Break.

We remind parents and carers of Year 11 pupils that the Parents’ Subject Evening is taking place on Tuesday 28 March and that this is a face-to-face event. If you have yet to book appointments, please do so as soon as possible using the link provided in the letter dated 17 March 2023.

School closes to pupils on Friday 31 March for the Easter holiday – please note that this is a usual full day with staggered dismissal from 1500 to 1510.

Fareham Debating Competition 2023

We entered two teams into the Fareham Debating Competition 2023 hosted by local MP and Home Secretary Suella Braverman.  The debate was concerning the use of language in controversial children’s books.  Friends and supporters watched the debate and the arguments were robust on both sides.

Year 9 Guided Choices Evening

This week we welcomed our Year 9 pupils and their parents/carers to hear about and discuss their guided choices for Year 10 and 11. Choosing which subjects to do during their final two years of school is an important step for pupils. We will organise taster sessions in subjects over the coming weeks to ensure that each pupil has as much information as they can to make the right decision for them. Should they have any questions, Mr Townsend is at hand to answer them.
