Credit Averages Per Pupil for This Week

Year 7                  9.74

Year 8                  6.54

Year 9                  7.94

Year 10                5.03

Year 11                 4.11

Thank you to all Year 7 parents/carers who were able to join us in school on Tuesday at the Year 7 Settling-in and Learning Support Evening and to Year 10 parents/carers who came to the Year 10 Parents’ Tutor Evening.

There was such a lovely atmosphere in the building; tutors really enjoyed meeting with parents and carers to offer information on how their child in Year 7 has adapted to secondary school life and how their child has settled into the routine of Year 10 as they embark on their GCSE/Key Stage 4 years. We remind parents/carers that the tutor evenings are followed by a Subject Parents’ Evening later in the year (please refer to the school’s calendar).

This weekly message is the last one of this half-term – we wish all members of the Cams Hill School Community a lovely half-term break and look forward to welcoming pupils back to school on Tuesday 1 November 2022 (Monday 31 October 2022 is an INSET Day).

Year 11 Revision Workshop

Last Friday representatives from Havant and Southdowns College came into school to deliver a MFL Revision Workshop to Year 11 pupils to support them with their upcoming exams.

The session focussed the pupils on five revision techniques, and they came away with some useful transferable skills and effective strategies. Pupils commented on the usefulness of the workshop, and we thank the members of the college for coming into school to work with our pupils

Year 9 U14 Hampshire Volleyball

Last weekend two boys’ teams competed in the Hampshire Volleyball Association Junior Grand Prix. As you can see from the photos, the energy and passion on display from all boys involved was phenomenal! They played 4v4 against other teams from across the county.

The boys above finished in 2nd place 🏆

The boys below, after having only TWO hours volleyball in PE lessons, finished 3rd. Many congratulations for all involved.
