As the weather gets warmer, we remind pupils, parents and carers that round-necked blue jumpers are an optional addition to the school uniform and cannot be worn in place of the blazer which is compulsory. Tutors continue to check uniform daily and they follow up on ClassCharts where there are infringements.

We are pleased to be able to say that most of our pupils adhere to the rules with uniform, supporting the high standards and expectations we have for all members of the school community. We thank parents/carers for their support.

Silk Screen Printing at Fareham College

Our GCSE Graphics Year 10 pupils had a brilliant afternoon at Fareham College this week learning how to silk screen print.

They began by drawing and cutting a stencil design which links to their current portfolio work.  This tested their design and problem-solving skills.  Pupils were then shown how to drag the special paint over the silk screen to transfer their stencil designs into a print. They really enjoyed the session and look forward to having the opportunity to further develop this newly learnt skill.

A huge thank you to Fareham College for enabling our pupils to have this opportunity.

Year 7 Athletics Success

Huge congratulations to both the Year 7 boys’ and girls’ Track Athletics Teams for an outstanding performance in the Hampshire Track Athletics knock out competition. They competed against Bay House, Swanmore, Deer Park, Brune Park and Wildern School. The girls team placed 1st and the boys team 2nd. The pupils showed incredible resilience and determination and drew praise from many other staff who attended.

Against fierce competition from the four other schools who attended, the boys placed joint 1st which is an incredible achievement.
