Today we have concluded the Autumn Term and, overall, what a fabulous 15 weeks it has been!

We appreciate that we all continue to live and operate in unpredictable times and, as you will be aware from the alternative arrangements we have in place this week, the last couple of weeks have been particularly challenging for us in school. We are so grateful for the patience and support of our pupil, parent/carer and teacher community as we all adapt in response to the ramifications that the global pandemic brings.

We start next term with a staggered start and parents/carers have been advised of the specific details as well as the schedule for the on-site testing for all pupils ahead of their return.

It is important not to underestimate the impact the running of the Asymptomatic Test Site (ATS) has on the usual functioning of the school, staffed by employees as well as volunteers. We are especially grateful to the volunteers; with the giving of their time and support we can operate on a scale that enables us to accommodate two-year groups per day and be back to usual business by Friday 7 January 2022. Again, we thank our school community for their support in this matter.

In the meantime, we would like to wish all our readers a very Happy Christmas and we look forward to the new term starting in January 2022.

Staff Christmas Cooking

Super effort from all of the staff who attended the Meringue Hazelnut and Clementine Roulade Staff Cook Club. Tremendous results from such a technical challenge as this! Hope they tasted as good as they looked.

Staff Wreath Making

Our annual staff wreath making wellbeing workshop went down a treat and, with much of the greenery foraged around the school site and from our gardens, each Christmas wreath looked truly individual and beautiful.

Non-Uniform and Charities Update

These are our two collection points for Mission Christmas and Queen Alexandra Hospital (Acts of Kindness Community).   Thank you for helping us to make Christmas a bit more special for those who are really struggling.
