This week’s message concludes the Autumn Term and so much has been accomplished over the last 14 weeks – in the classroom and across the school. We try to acknowledge and capture as much as we can in the weekly message to give a sense of what it is like to be a member of this wonderful school community. Don’t forget you can also follow us on Facebook and on Twitter.

We hope that a 2-week holiday will offer up time for some rest and relaxation and enable all to come back together in the New Year fit, well and ready to get started with the term ahead.

The school re-opens to all pupils on Tuesday 3 January 2023 with its usual staggered start. The school calendar can be accessed via the website for dates of forthcoming events and activities; the next INSET Day is taking place on 27 January 2023 which is a common closure day with other local secondary schools.

With our best wishes to all our staff, pupils and their families – Merry Christmas everyone!

Not to underestimate the hard work involved, the catering team as always took it all in their stride and delivered every plate of food with a smile. Our thanks also go to other members of staff and pupils who rallied around to make this event as special as it was. There was a lot of washing up!

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Pupils should take a picture of themselves reading over this Christmas period.
