The School Day – COVID Measures

Cams Hill School is committed to a range of risk reduction measures in order to continue to reduce the risk of the transmission of COVID-19 in school. All of these risk reduction measures have been communicated to our parents, carers and pupils (see links at the bottom of this page) and are evident in our risk assessment.

There are major adjustments to the structure of the school day for all pupils. Pupils have staggered start and finish times, move around school in a one way system we fondly call ‘the lazy river’ and have both break and lunch times in year group ‘zones.’ Lunch times are also staggered.

Covid routines require each pupils to carry their own COVID kit which includes, hand sanitiser, tissues, mask and small plastic storage bag, named water bottle, reading book and all equipment required for school.

Further detail regarding cleaning routines, risk reduction measures are all available in the whole school risk assessment available via the following link.
