At Cams Hill School we are proud to be a school that is kind and that works hard in all that we do. Choosing a secondary school is one of the most important decisions that you will make for your children and family.
At Cams Hill School the relationships between staff and pupils are phenomenal. All staff have the highest expectations and are ambitious for each and every pupil; they know them well. With a rigorous, child centred focus on each and every unique individual, pupils are enabled to make progress, achieve strong outcomes and enjoy their schooling with us. As Headteacher, it is my pleasure to introduce you to our school underpinned by kindness. It is a privilege to be the Headteacher of this wonderful school. We are proud to be the school of choice in the local area, consistently oversubscribed, aiming to be at the heart of the community in Fareham.

We believe Cams Hill School is unique. We are a traditional academic school based around the core values of being kind and working hard. We expect the highest standards of attitude and behaviour from our young people, ensuring every moment of learning time is maximised. Cams Hill School has high expectations in all aspects of teaching, learning and the wider educational experience including a strict uniform policy. Pupils are expected to wear their uniform with pride. We expect and appreciate very much the positive partnership and support that our wider community gives us with all aspects of their childs educational experience at Cams Hill, including working with us to ensure understanding of and compliance with our policies – for example good behaviour, uniform, attendance.

Complementing our strong, traditional academic curriculum, Cams Hill School has an incredible array of ‘co-curricular’ activities, a far greater range than any other school locally. With trips to Italy, the Battlefields, Skiing, France to take part in water sports activities, Brecon Beacons, an active Duke of Edinburgh scheme and various universities as well as local trips to support curriculum content. Cams Hill School has a phenomenal academic and sporting reputation locally and nationally and opportunities given to all pupils are many and varied. Pupils thrive at Cams Hill.
