On 28 January, this area's Inter School Cross Country Championships were held at Portchester School. The events were for Year 7 and Year 8 runners and Cams pupils produced some very good results. Fraser Clark (8C) ran in at a comfortable third place with Chad Field (8C) and Ben White (8H) being in the first 20. For Year 8 girls we had Elle Harper (8M2) in second place with Elena Gmitrowicz (8A), Laura Johnson (8L) and Hannah Larmer (8M2) in the top 20.

Year 7 pupils also had success with an outstanding run made by Eva Grice (7A) coming first and another very good run by Eleanor Czura (7M2) who finished third. For Year 7 Boys, Angus Southon (7C) was the first in arriving in fourth position. Also in the top 20, and therefore representing the district, were Chris Finch  (7M1) and Jake Stubbington (7S).

It is perhaps hard to get a real sense of the chaos that was World War One when walking through rolling farmers' fields. However, our experience this year was vivid and moving, brought to life by two excellent guides and the truly respectful behaviour of a wonderful group of Year 9 pupils. More

With only one month to go until Valentine’s Day, pupils in Year 10 and Year 11 managed to capture the heart of their choice during the first of six Key Stage 4 Science Network sessions. The first activity, led by Mr Doherty, was all about the structure of the mammalian heart and how it transports blood around the body. More

Cams Community Club is now well underway with a wide range of activities being offered to retired residents of Fareham, from Art sessions to Nordic Walking. With new activities being offered we expect the club to keep on growing, so why not come along? More
